Supplementary Environmental Information Submitted

Additional information in relation to the Highland Wind Farm application has now been submitted to Scottish Ministers comprising a Supplementary Environmental Information (SEI) Report. This SEI includes information relating to minor amendments to the proposed access track layout and the location of one temporary construction compound, amendments to the indicative design of bridges crossing the River Dulnain and Feithlinn burn, amendments to proposed peatland restoration areas, and/or clarifications on the landscape and visual, ornithology, ecology (including woodland), geology/hydrology, and access/transport assessments in response to initial consultation responses.. In addition, an assessment of the likely significant environmental effects of the proposed grid connection, based on currently available information, has been undertaken.

All previous representations received by Scottish Ministers in relation to the application remain valid. Any new representations on the additional information may be submitted via www.energyconsents.scot using the relevant Project Name, Highland Wind Farm, and/or ECU reference number, ECU00005082. Please note that you must be in possession of a working email address to submit a representation online.

If you would prefer to submit your representation by post, please send to the Scottish Government Energy Consents Unit, 4th Floor, 5 Atlantic Quay, 150 Broomielaw, Glasgow, G2 8LU, identifying the proposal and specifying the grounds for representation. Written representations should be dated, clearly stating the name (in block capitals) and full postal address of those making representations. All representations should be received not later than the 21st of September 2026, however, Scottish Ministers may be able to consider written representations received after this date. Any subsequent additional information which is submitted will be subject to further public notice in this manner, and representations to such information will be accepted as per this notice.
